Inglaterra**** is the oldest hotel in Cuba and one
of the most classic hotels in
Havana
The hotel was built in 1875 and located in the heart of
Old Havana "Habana Vieja" in front of the Central Park
It`s within walking distance
of the Capitolio, the Prado,
Obispo and the Malecon
From this hotel you can
explore old Havana on foot
The facade is nicely decorated and inside you can enjoy ceiling decorations, chandeliers, mosaics and wrought iron
A hotel where you go back in time
Many celebrities have stayed here including Jose Marti
In memory of his visit in the hall there is a painting of him and a plaque
The hotel has an internet corner and a lovely restaurant
In the evening there is always a musician playing during dinner
Breakfast is in buffet style
We had half board and could choose every night from
the same fish or meat meal
If you want to book this hotel I recommend a la carte or go out for dinner
In the hallways stood and hung many plants
