Hotel Gran Caribe Jagua*** Cienfuegos Cuba

We stayed on the eighth floor of Hotel Gran Caribe Jagua *** in Cienfuegos

and had lovely views on the bay and the city

We had a spacious, clean room and a balcony

The bathroom had beautiful marble tiles and was also spacious and clean

The meals were buffet style and tasted good

There was a large pool with sun beds and umbrellas

On the gallery we had views on the Moorish palace "Palacio de Valle" which was

built in 1860 by a wealthy businessman Catalan

The palace features lavish decorations inside and outside,

Gothic pillars, a tower with battlements and stained-glass windows

There`s a wonderful restaurant on the ground floor and a roof terrace on

the second floor with panoramic views over the bay 

Cienfuegos is worth a visit

In the evening you might see a show at the beautiful

theater "Teatro Tomas Terry" show

Hotel Faro Luna *** is twenty minutes from Cienfuegos

The 3 star Hotel Faro Luna is situated on the south coast of Cuba, 20 minutes

from the city of Cienfuegos

It`s an excellent spot for divers

The small but beautiful garden had a pool and beautiful views of (the sunset in) the bay

The pink hotel looked brightly from the outside

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean but poorly maintained

The safe was broken

The closet where the fridge was supposed to be was empty

The air conditioning makes a lot of noise so we couldn`t use

We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool

The shower had only cold water despite the warning to look out for water at 50 degrees.... 

The staff in the restaurant was rude and the food was of

poor quality and wasn`t refilled

We`ve only slept one night here and that was

more than enough

Hotel Jagua in Cienfuegos has wonderful views of the "Palacio de Valle"

In Hotel Jagua**** we stayed on the top floor where we had great views of

the bay and Cienfuegos

At the other side we had a view of the beautiful

Palace "Palacio de Valle"

The special Palace "Palacio de Valle" was built in 1890 by a wealthy

Catalan businessman

We had a spacious and clean room and bathroom

The breakfast was fine and in the evening you can enjoy on the terrace

the illuminated Moorish palace
