Salto del Guayabo is the highest waterfall in Cuba


Salto del Guayabo is one of the main attractions of the
Parque Nacional La Mensura in Eastern Cuba

Salto del Guayabo is the highest waterfall in Cuba

The crystal clear waters of the river Guayabo plunges precipitously between the mountains and offers spectacular views

The waterfall can be seen from the Mirador Guayabo with
the beautiful surrounding

Situated at an altitude of 546 meters above sea level, the Salto del Guayabo formed by two falls of 85 and 127 meters












It has an exceptionally lush vegetation and microclimate

There is beautiful vegetation, including 36 species of orchids, 33 species of ferns and numerous shrubs and emerging trees reaching a height
between 15 to 20 meters
