Be seen on the promenade Paseo del Prado in Old Havana


The Paseo del Prado (Prado) or Paseo de Marti is located between the Malecon and the Parque Central

Construction of the promenade outside the city walls began in 1772 and was completed in 1830 and soon became a popular promenade



Some buildings along the Prado are refurbished but most are unfortunately in a very poor condition


In the middle of the Prado is the promenade with many banks, old streetlights and large trees




Left and right of the promenade is a road



The Prado is a favorite place for the people of Havana just to chat or play a game of chess and school classes sports here





Every Saturday there is a artmarket with paintings, sculptures and other homemade items





Between the market stalls the children received drawing lessons
and they were  fully focused
